Detailed instructions on how to manage your own data related to Google products can be found here.

6. Newsletter

On our website you can subscribe to a free newsletter. When registering for the newsletter, the data from the input mask (surname, first name, email address) will be transmitted to us. As part of the registration process, you will be asked to give your consent for the processing of the data. For a successful registration, we need a valid email address. In order to verify that a registration is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the "double opt-in" procedure. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email, and receipt of the requested response. Further data are not collected or are collected only on a voluntary basis. The subscription to the newsletter can be cancelled by the user at any time. For this purpose, a corresponding unsubscribe link can be found in each newsletter.

Stadthaus Burgdorf uses the MailChimp tool. MailChimp is a service that can be used, among other things, to organise and analyse the sending of newsletters. If you enter data for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g. email address), these will be stored on the MailChimp servers.

By registering for our newsletter, you also agree that certain actions will be analysed. The survey determines whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients, but it is neither our intention nor MailChimp's intention to monitor individual users. Rather, the evaluations help us to better align the information and offers in our newsletter with the individual interests of the recipient.

For more information, see MailChimp's privacy policy: https://mailchimp.com/legal/

7. Amendments to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to ensure that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will apply to your next visit.
